For drawings, please see the section ``NIM -- Module Enclosure'' of the documentation binder.
All aluminium parts of the enclosure are treated with Alodine~1200 yellow chromate conversion process to fight oxidation and to provide basis for silkscreening.
Cut two 242.5mm lengths of Knürr aluminium profile 5.032.054.0 (comes in 1 meter extrusion bars, each provides four rails i.e. for two NIM boxes).
See the drawings provided for locations of M3 threaded mounting holes.
The same procedure applies as above, but use Knürr profile 5.032.053.0 instead.
3mm thick Al 68.5mm x 221.0mm with drillings described in drawing ``NIM Front Plate'' in the ``NIM'' section of the documentation binder. Mount the bushels (with a riveting tool) to their holes and add module mounting screws:
3mm thick Al 68.0mm x 193.0mm with drillings described in drawing ``NIM Rear Plate'' in the ``NIM'' section of the documentation binder. There is a standard grounding screw M5x16mm mounted with two spacers and two nuts in the center of the rear plate.
0.8--1.0mm thick Al 176.5mm x 242.0mm.
0.8--1.0mm thick Al 60.8mm x 242.0mm punched with 2mm holes so that there is 60--65% of plate remaining.
