This is the Concurrent Versions System, version 1.9. It is essentially
a front end to GNU RCS, and adds functionality to handle entire directories,
multiple developers, and networked repositories.

The maintainer of this package is Tom Lees <tom@lpsg.demon.co.uk>.

The base version of 1.9 is available from prep.ai.mit.edu in
/pub/gnu/cvs-1.9.tar.gz, and all its mirrors. Development versions are
available from cyclic.com - visit their web site to find out how to get
the latest development version. The development version 1.9.10 is also
available from the GNU archives.

This version is based on version 1.9.10 with additional patches extracted from
the OpenBSD CVS sources (http://www.openbsd.org). These patches are to allow
"anonymous CVS", or access to a CVS repository with only read permissions.
