This is Debian/GNU Linux's prepackaged version of the FSF's standalone
Info reader `info' and its documentation. It is the only package generated
directly from the texinfo sources; the rest of the texinfo package is built
into the teTeX packages.

This package was put together by Galen Hazelwood <galenh@micron.net> from
sources obtained at:
 ftp://prep.ai.mit.edu/pub/gnu/texinfo-3.9.tar.gz

Changes:
 * added Debian GNU/Linux package maintenance system files
 * patched info to work properly with cursor keys (see below)

The patches to info were sent to the maintainer by Ian Jackson, and were
taken from the version of info from Linux FT, distributed by Lasermoon.
