The bus will leave from the hotel Radisson SAS in Otaniemi at 14:15.
Our first stop will be at Metsähovi, where we will visit the Metsähovi research facilities. First we will visit the Metsähovi Radio Observatory, where you will get to see our radome-enclosed 13.7-metre radio telescope. Then we will visit the facilities of the Geodetic Institute. The head of the Department of Geodesy and Geodynamics of the Finnish Geodetic Institute, professor Markku Poutanen, will tell us about their work and their research instruments.

From Metsähovi we will drive to the direction of Lohja. The conference dinner will be served at a unique location: we will go to the altitude of 110 metres -- below the ground! We will start by taking a small tour in the underground world of the Tytyri mine and then stop for 10 minutes to experience the "Storm Oratorio", a magnificient light & music performance. After that we will enter a cave where we can sit down for food, drinks, and yet some more artistic entertainment!
