Metsähovi Radio Observatory,
telescope time allocation
If there are "empty" slots in the preliminary schedules, they will
most likely be GIX project time.
Preliminary future reservations:
- March 8th: Teaching (LUMA), during the day; quasar and Solar
observations, continuum receiver needed.
- Solar observations: a couple of maps on each GIX day.
- mm-VLBI (GMVA): Session 1/2012:
17 - 22 May, Session 2/2012: 15 - 20 November
- EVN: Session 1/2012: 23 Feb - 15 Mar, 22 GHz obs 28.-29.2.
Session 2/2012: 24 May - 12 Jun, Session 3/2012: 18 Oct - 8 Nov.
Not all of these will be 22 GHz!
- Geo-VLBI: In 2012 the
observing dates: JAN16, MAR27, MAR28, MAY08, MAY09, JUL03, JUL24, OCT16.
- March 2012?: 3 mm VLBI receiver tests, approximately one week.
Will aim at scheduling for good weather, will be done upon short
notice, but excluding geo session and teaching time slots.
Note: The schedules can change upon a short notice due to
changing demands (multifrequency campaigns, tests etc.)
